Several methods to Remove shortcut files or virus from your device (computer, pen drives, etc.).

METHOD 1: 

a) Download the file Autorum Exterminator from the link provided here. 

b) Run and install the file which is named as “Autorun Exterminator” which will automatically update the file at first.

c) Then complete scan the drive or the folder from which the shortcut virus is to be removed.

METHOD 2:

a) Download the Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware from the link here. 

b) Run a full scan of your computer/device and will instantly remove the shortcut virus active in your computer.

METHOD 3: MOST EASY AND NO FILE DOWNLOAD/INSTALL

a) Type run in the start box of windows and then type “CMD”

b) A box will open with a command prompt and type  the following command in the box as shown and press ENTER.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d e:\*.*

or

attrib E:\*.* /d /s -h -r -s

c) If you want to change the drive type your drive name. For example if you want to remove shortcut virus in drive F: then type as follows:

attrib -h -r -s /s /d f:\*.*

or

attrib F:\*.* /d /s -h -r -s

METHOD 4

a) Download the usbfix link from here and install the file.

b) Before installing and running the file usbfix, go to any peripheral device for scanning the device and remove the shortcut virus.

c) After finding the device, there is Clean option in the software and a popup message will appear asking to connect all the data sources to the PC or drives.
