Renew And Change The Ip Address

There are usually two types of ip addresss static and dynamic ip address which is mainly changeable or non-changeable.

This article will help you to understand and change your ip address systematically.

STEP1:

GO TO START AND CLICK ‘RUN’

OR

GO TO COMMAND PROMPT/COMMAND LINE TERMINAL BY PRESSING -WINDOWS BOTTOM IN KEYBOARD AND LETTER ‘R’ AT ONCE

STEP 2:

THIS WILL LEAD YOU TO A COMMAND BOX

ENTER ‘cmd’ IN COMMAND BOX AND HIT OK/ENTER BUTTON

STEP 3:

THIS WILL LEAD YOU TO COMMAND TERMINAL

STEP 4:

TYPE THE CODE ‘IPCONFIG/release’ AND HIT ENTER

This will show your current ip address along with the default gateway channel.

Step 4:

Now type ipconfig/renew and hit enter

This will allow you to change the ip address of your computer or laptops.

However this method relies on the fact if the ip address on your place is dynamic or static type.
