Knowing you ip address is a very easy. Following these simple steps lets you to know the ip address you are using in a particular place.  A simple command toolbar shows the ip address you are working on either in a home, office, work or any other places.

STEP1:

GO TO START AND CLICK ‘RUN’

OR

GO TO COMMAND PROMPT/COMMAND LINE TERMINAL BY PRESSING -WINDOWS BUTTOM IN KEYBOARD AND LETTER ‘R’ AT ONCE

STEP 2:

THIS WILL LEAD YOU TO A COMMAND BOX

STEP3:

ENTER ‘cmd’ IN COMMAND BOX AND HIT OK/ENTER BUTTOM

STEP 4:

THIS WILL LEAD YOU TO COMMAND TERMINAL

STEP 5:

TYPE THE CODE ‘IPCONFIG’ AND HIT ENTER

THIS WILL SHOW THE IP ADDRESS OF YOUR DESKTOP/COMPUTER

You can also change your ip address from place to place. Usually changing your ip address depends on whether it is static or dynamic. Dynamic ip address could be changed when you are moving from one place to another like in cafeteria, cyber, hotels,etc.
